A consultation was carried out at the end of last year and on Tuesday night, the council voted to begin charging this summer. Motorists will pay 50p an hour between April and September. Rathlin Island residents and those who regularly work on the island will be given permits along with boat owners at Ballycastle Marina. The DUP council group said it ensures fairness and parity across the borough in the provision of car parking. "For too long, there have been inconsistencies in how parking charges and concessions are applied, and this decision brings much-needed balance," a spokesperson said. Free parking for Rathlin residents and boat owners "recognises the unique needs of our coastal communities while ensuring that a consistent approach is taken across all areas", they added. # 'Significant levy' However, Sinn Féin's Cara McShane said her party did not want the charges to be introduced at any of the car parks. The councillor said it was a "significant levy" for families who live and work there and had no alternative but to use the car parks. McShane said Ballycastle is "not a market town, we cannot be compared to other areas within Causeway Coast and Glens." "We are the only community with an inhabited island just six miles across the water," she added. The views of the Rathlin Development Community Association and local business people were ignored, according to the councillor. Maria Bakewell's family owns a pub on the seafront in Ballycastle which they also live above. Ms Bakewell is a teacher on Rathlin Island. She said she "is extremely disappointed" and that she "feels let down" by the decision. Ms Bakewell estimated it would cost her family an extra £5,000 a year to park outside their home and business. "There are four cars and having to park in that car park every day meaning the cost is imposed on us," she said. Would a damaged hub, cause your wheel too slow down and be stiff?
I've pretty much replaced a bunch of parts not too long ago. Like my headset, my freeewheel, tires, chainring, chain, brake cables, brake pads and such. So everything was riding pretty aligned and intack. But the past week or so, after freezing temps and some snow. It's starting to do what it ends up doing every winter. Which is get really sluggish and feel like I'm forcing the pedal. I've had my wheels since about 2023. And tbh i don't really do much for them. I was going to get them trued last time, but the repair guy said don't waste your money it's good. But as far as hubs go, I've never done a repair or cleaning/relubing on that. I mean my wheels ain't nothing special. But is servicing the hub, something yall usually get done often or yearly? I used to just buy new wheels, but realized how much I may have not needed to do that. Even tho I'll still get my old wheels sold off. Still seems like maybe it was something I could of just got adjusted at the shop.War pack list

After going for the more sought after figures for my collection, I’m unsure what I should look into next besides the exclusive Toys R Us Noble 7 figure. At the moment I have plenty of room behind the Joyride figures at the top, same with the 10th anniversary box sets on the middle shelf. Should I look into statues? Or anything else of interest? So I got a new wireless controller last month. Today I am having issues with it. When I tilt the left joy stick to go forward, my character just walks slowly. If I pull it back they sprint. North Face Patrol Pack
Hi all! I have a North Face Patrol Pack from 2000/2001. It is in great shape, and seems to be a great pack for ski mountaineering and adventuring and such. However, some of the features aren't intuitive. My Google adventure didn't bring anything up, and TNF didn't have any photos or old tags or manuals or anything. Does anyone have pictures of the big fully loaded? Skis, poles, etc.? I'd love to get the most out of this thing. Hey Amateur Radio Enthusiasts, I'm currently on the hunt for a functional HF radio that supports digital modes and is compatible with both Android and Linux. I've got a QRPlabs QDX on order, but it's going to be a while before it arrives. In the meantime, I'm struggling to find suitable alternatives. I've come across a couple of options like the (tr)uSDX and the "USDR USDX+Plus" on AliExpress. However, from what I've read, it looks like these might require additional interfaces like a Digirig or further setup which adds complexity. Here's what I'm looking for: Ease of Use: I want something that can be set up with minimal hassle for digital modes like JS8, PSK31, etc. Compatibility: Must work well with Android devices (for mobile operation) and Linux systems (for home setups). Affordability: Preferably not too pricey since I've already got one radio on the way. Does anyone have experience with these types of setups? PSA: I would honestly not recommend Alright, so a couple months ago, I kept seeing all these cute videos of sugar gliders gliding around, snuggling with their owners, and just being tiny little pocket pets. I thought, damn, these things are adorable, so I bit the bullet and got a couple. First off, these little goblins refuse to eat their food. I’ve been giving them hamster food since it’s cheaper and close enough - it’s all just pellets at the end of the day, but they barely touch it. hey also hate me. I’ve been socializing them for a solid hour a week, but they still act like I’m some apex predator trying to end their bloodline every time I go near the cage. No cuddles, no trust, just pure malice. They are also extremely needy its Unreal. If you don’t constantly entertain them, they start going feral in their cage. I left them alone for two days, and they acted like they were plotting my downfall. Just chirping, barking, and climbing the bars like unhinged little crackheads. So yeah, I’m going to have to get rid of them and im making this post to warn others that they are not the pets you have in mind. I tried selling them, but turns out nobody wants sugar gliders that came from the bad batch. These things are basically unsocialized mini-demons. At this point, I might have to get rid of them the old-fashioned way, but I’d really rather not. Moral of the story: Don’t fall for the cute TikToks. Sugar gliders are not the dream pet you think they are. I commend anyone on this sub who actually has the energy to cater to these things, but honestly its too much, much better of getting a dog or a cat.Unlocking secret episode
Hi, I've been playing BBS on standard mode for all characters. I got the save data for all 3 characters. Then I got all of the Xehanort reports so I could access final episode. I beat the final episode. Then I started looking towards the secret episode. But I hadn't collected all of the stickers so I had to go back to a previous Aqua save in order to get them since Aqua couldn't access Radiant Garden. Now I have all stickers and have placed them so I got 140 pts for all 3 characters. Now I am grinding kills to get 9999 kills. I'm assuming I have to play final episode AGAIN once I accumulate enough kills? When will I know once I have enough kills for the 9999? Will it tell me in-game or do I have to go back to the title screen for it to appear?The eyes are going elsewhere when I try to rotate them on VRC avatar descriptor. How can I fix this?
